Grand old hotel with responsive staff from housekeeping to manager and excellent Wi-Fi. Nice and ideal location, 15 mins walk from the city centre.

Beds were a bit hard.

Really enjoyed my stay here and strongly recommend it. This hotel was homely in every respect, had very pleasant staff on the great service put forth by the staff. The room I stayed in was unique and spotless with TV and queen queen bed.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and had well-trained and hard-working staff at the reception desk. The restaurant was really nice with nonya food, I tried tasty dishes. The bed was extra large and it was great having a terrace, Netflix, and a safe box. Nothing to complain about, I liked this venue and recommend.

The location was marvellous, only 5 minutes walk to a heritage museum. Distance to the airport was just 20 km. The staff was lovely, kept everything clean and wonderful. The breakfast was really tasty and great and with good selections.

Muntri Mews exceeded my expectations in every way. the location was perfect – situated in a quiet street with minimal traffic, yet still in the heart of the bustling city center. This allowed for a peaceful night's sleep while still being able to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the world heritage site. Secondly, the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to offer assistance. Thirdly, the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with two large comfortable beds providing a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities was evident, making our stay feel truly special.

There was nothing that could have been improved. Everything was perfect.

My wife and I loved this little boutique hotel. The layout and design is so welcoming and the rooms are tastefully done ,a mixture of Victorian colonial and modern comfort. Every little aspect has been beautifully carried out with exquisite attention to detail ,from the modern bathroom fittings to the old Chinese slide bolts on the doors. We couldn't fault the staff. Chona in particular was so helpful but I found all of the kids on staff went out of their way to make our stay more than enjoyable. Chris , the owner lent a low keyed personal note and took the time to give us some of the background and history of Penang and Georgetown. If you are passing through this part of Malaysia you would be crazy to stay anywhere else

I've been trying to find something bad to say about Mutri Mews to no avail. The only thing was our inability to stay an extra night due to the place being booked out.

The whole experience of staying in Muntri Mews and in the heart of Georgetown is wonderful and priceless. The place is excellent and the services are top class! Totally value for money!

Probably should include the option to include breakfast from the Mews Cafe into the accommodation package.

We were impressed with this place as soon as we walked in, and the Georgetown district is definitely worth checking out.

We had a great 2-night stay at this place, which was both relaxing and comfortable. The modern hotel had amazing facilities and beautiful rooms. We also enjoyed the convenience of having Holy Guacamole nearby where we could enjoy some nice shots.

It was a lovely experience - the rooms were delightful. And the staff were all amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know.

There is nothing I did not like, but I would mention that it might be more convenient to have a phone and aittle fridge in the room. Apart from that everything was perfect.

Very unique room decoration and large beds. Accommodated us and our son easily. Staff very friendly and helped us solve all the problems we had. My wife did not bring tooth brush and one of the staff even rode scooter to one of the 7-11 to buy one for us.

The room amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, a sitting area. The free toiletries and refrigerator were also a nice touch. The staff even managed to provide me with a quieter room upon request. The free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception were additional conveniences that made my stay all the more enjoyable.
